Adoption Overview

All Breed Rescue & Training is dedicated to placing dogs in their forever home. Many of these dogs have been bounced around from one home to another and deserve to find a family to call their own. The shelters are currenty filled with dogs that have behavioral issues and have become throw-aways. We believe that education and training helps to work on existing behavior problems, prevent future ones and most importantly fosters the bond between human and animal. Our primary goal is to get these dogs into a home where they can be part of the family, where they can live out their days, no matter what comes up.

Our emphasis on education sets us apart from most other rescues. Every dog will have either Puppy Kindergarten Class(8 weeks), Foundation Class(6 weeks), 12 Socialization sessions or a Behavioral Evaluation(1 hour) with a behavioral counselor as part of their adoption fee. For some dogs this is optional and can be used at any time during the life of the dog. For other dogs it is a requirement of their contract. Each and every puppy we have will have a special contract for either puppy class or foundation class so that we can be sure we get them off to a great start. Other dogs have contracts based on the needs of the dogs. Our dogs come from all backgrounds and if we can help owners work through some of the behaviors that a particular dog has, then we feel we are helping keep that dog in that family. These requirements need to be completed at All Breed Rescue & Training and started within 1 month of adoption.
