Personality


I am a typical Shepherd/Labrador. I am very smart and very playful. I need someone who will help me fit in with a family and help me learn what is expected. My foster parents say I am very intelligent and learn quickly. I was not house trained or crate or dog door trained, but I have mastered all of these new skills. I would love to learn more new things with my forever family and I come with a training class so we can both learn together how to be the best family ever. I can run very fast when I am let out to play in my foster parents large yard. Since I was probably not brought up around kids and I can get to running fast and I focus on what I am doing I would do best with adults or older children used to being around a dog.


Socialization


Does the dog like other pets?
I don't know if I have ever been around cats, so I would have to meet them to see how I would do with them. I love dogs and have done well with everyone I have met so far. My youngest playmate has been a 3-month-old and only weighed around 25 pounds. I do well with all those puppy behaviors. I am helping him learn how to be a well-mannered dog. It's fun learning together. I love my foster buddy Woody.

Does the dog like children?
I am not sure if I have ever been around kids.

General Socialization Notes
I play well with other dogs. I am very affectionate with my foster parents. I love to hang out with my humans as well. My foster family doesn't have children and I don't appear to have experience with little ones.


Favorite Toys


I love to relax on my dog bed and play with my humans! I love to play and would love a playmate that has my energy level. I love my nylabones toys and will need chew toys to help keep me entertained.


Forever Home


I love to be with other dogs so I would probably do best in a household with another dog to play with, but I can also be quiet on my own as long as I have periods of activity.
