Personality


I am a little reserved with people that I don't know, but I don't take too long to warm up once I know you will be gentle with me. I LOVE being with my human and have some separation anxiety when we are apart. I do LOVE to be scratched and getting belly rubs from trusted humans. Being a princess, I am use to all of the best things, so don't surprised to find me on your bed pillow or on the sofa. I can walk nicely on a leash and look SUPER CUTE when I stand up on my back legs, but other than that I don't know very many behaviors. I am VERY food motivated so should be pretty easy to train.


Socialization


Does the dog like other pets?
I'm ok with other dogs as long as they are not rough with me. I will play a little with my foster bother (he's about my size), but as of yet, I have not chosen to grace any of the other dogs with my presence during play time. I would be perfectly content to be an only dog and the center of attention, like any Princess should be. I am fascinated by the kitty that I live with and would like to be her friend, if she would let me.

Does the dog like children?
Any kids in my new home would have to be older and be respectful of me and not handle me to roughly.

General Social Placement Notes
I don't like having my feet handled, so I would need some work on getting my nails cut. I will need some help and understanding in order to get over my separation anxiety.


Favorite Toys


It will take me awhile to feel comfortable enough to play with toys and I will not play with them when there are other dogs around. I play a pretty good game of fetch and will tug with trusted humans.


Forever Home


I would really like a home or apartment where no one cares if I get on the furniture. I would prefer a quiet home with either no kids or older kids who will be gentle with me. A home with one other small dog would probably be alright, but I think I would prefer to be an only dog.
