Personality


I am a very snuggly little guy! I can tend to get excited easily, but also calm down just as easily and then I just want you to make me the center of your attention! My favorite thing is to crawl up on the couch right next to you and chill out watching a movie. I also love wiggling around on the carpet first thing in the morning to make you laugh, and I'll do just about anything you'd like for a treat.


Socialization


Does the dog like other pets?
I currently live in a home with another dog, but I can be scared of dogs that I don't know. I always strive to be the top dog, and so it's better if I'm the only in my new home. I'm very much a hunting breed and like to chase anything smaller than myself, so no cats please!

Does the dog like children?
I don't live with any little humans now, and don't get much of a chance to see them otherwise. If I come across them out on a walk, I make myself look even cuter (as if that's even possible!) just so they all want to come pet me! However, if anyone is up for a game of keep away I'm all ears! I do tend to get over-excited and jump up though, so maybe my new home shouldn't have anyone under the age of about 8.

General Social Placement Notes
I'm a really sweet little guy who just wants everyone to love me... it's all about me! I do tend too get excited, but I also have my calm moments. I'm told I'm at my cutest when I'm sleeping. I need a home that understands I'm not yet perfect, but if your patient, I promise I'll do my best.


Favorite Toys


You, of course! I love it when you try to catch me in the yard, it's my favorite game! I also love car rides, squeaky toys, and anything that's stuffed. I LOVE THOSE LITTLE LOOFA DOGS!!!!! It has the squeaky, and the stuffing, and oh my gosh ITŐS PERFECT!! I also like to play tug of war and chase things. I absolutely love to hike too, but I have to be kept on a leash as my hunting instincts get the best of me and I go chasing things. I've jumped off a few high ledges because of it...


Forever Home


I'm dreaming of a home that has a large back yard, and a family who loves me and is patient enough to take me to training classes so that I can become your perfect dog. I want to be the only dog, but I think it would be fun to have an older kid or two to play with and keep me company and walk me. I'm okay being left at home while you're at work, but best confined to a few rooms so I don't get too bored and look for a way to keep myself busy. I like to be fussed over when you're home though. I'm also really smart, so someone who will teach me new tricks would be totally awesome!
