Hi, I am Phina (short for Josephina). I am a 4yr old spayed female Chihuahua. I am a cutie and think I am a princess. I am a long legged beauty. I take a moment to warm up but treats are certainly the way to my heart. I like to go for rides in the car and love going for walks. I like to run and do a little dance when I get excited.


Socialization


Does the dog like other pets?
I like other dogs ok as long as they realize I am cuter and the boss. I would do best as an only dog or with a submissive male.

Does the dog like children?
The only kids I know are older (teens). I am pretty good with them as long as they donÕt run or move too fast. I am scared they will step on me.

General social placement notes:
I have learned to be a big strong brave chihuahua. I like my house to be calm but am ok when people come over as long as I get what is coming to meÑnamely treats. I am not a big barker but will let you know that there is someone at the door or that I am nervous about something. My foster mom loves my lil bark and says it sounds like a raspy blues singer. I also "chortle" for my food. I just want to make sure you donÕt forget that I need to eat. I certainly wonÕt miss a meal.


Favorite Toys


I love to play with my foster parents and my lil brother doxi at their house. I chase him around and wrestle with him all the time. I also have this thing on my back end that I chase all the time. If only I could catch it. I am content to sit and watch things and like to be a lap doggie.


Forever Home


I need a laid back relaxed home. I like things mostly steady and calm but have learned to adapt to a little chaos. I want a home that will love me and take care of me and enjoy my little antics (I chase my tail a lot). I am a power walker and would make a great walking companion. I like to ride in the car and would be a great little dog to travel with.
