Personality

It takes a while for me to warm up to people, but once I trust you, I am very loyal.

What are the dog's favorite toys or things to do?
My favorite toy is my teddy bear. I enjoy hikes, running in the backyard and getting personal snuggle time.

My forever home:
I'm looking for a home with minimal distractions where I can relax and bond with my human family.

Socialization

Does the dog like cats? Live with cats?
I don't live with cats now, so I would probably do best if my new home didn't have any either.

Does the dog like other dogs?
I live with other dogs now, but would have to meet any new dogs to see how we would do.

Does the dog like kids?
I'm not used to being around kids, so it would be best if I didn't live with any.

Should the dog be placed with other pets and/or kids?
Ideally, I would be the center of attention. I would do best with a single person or couple with no kids.

I have stayed in a crate at the shelter, but don't stay in a crate often, so I don't know how I would do in one in the house.

I haven't had any formal training.

Does the dog escape the yard? Dig? Bark excessively? Anything else?
I have been known to escape a six foot fence, but behave well in the house.

Does the dog ride well in the car?
I love riding in the car and behave well as long as I'm not left too long.

Is the dog food aggressive?
My foster siblings and I eat separately, so I don't know if I would be protective of my food.

Fearful of anything?
I am very protective when the mailman comes by and bark at him.

I am happy and healthy.
