Personality

I am a handsome, loving boy! I am very shy, especially with men, but I just need a little tlc.

What are the dog's favorite toys or things to do?

Cuddling in laps of course, especially with women, but I do warm up to men and boys over time. And I 
sometimes like to play with plush squeaky toys.

My forever home:

My ideal forever home is a quiet place with patient people who want to let me curl up in their laps!

Socialization

Does the dog like cats? Live with cats?

I live with a cat now that doesn't like dogs, and she's bigger than me so I just stay away from her. I would probably like nice cats though!

Does the dog like other dogs?
I like to play chase with my new small dog roommate, and I run after the big dogs and bark when they play. I would probably enjoy living with a calm, friendly, small dog companion.

Does the dog like kids?

I would probably do well with older, patient children, like the ones I hang out with now at my foster home.

Should the dog be placed with other pets and/or kids?
I would definitely be happiest as an only child, but I would probably be ok living with another dog.

Training and Behavior

Housebroken?
Yes, except in really cold weather when I don't like to stay outside long. Then you have to watch me pretty carefully as I might find somewhere in the house to hide to go potty.

Crate trained?
I do fine in the crate, though I would prefer to be with you.

Has the dog had any training?
I haven't had any formal training, but ABR&T can help with that!

Does the dog escape the yard? Dig? Bark excessively? Anything else?
I am small, and a pretty good escape artist, so I'll need to be in a home with secure fencing.

Does the dog ride well in the car?
Cars a pretty scary! I would do ok in someone's lap though.

Is the dog food aggressive?
I haven't shown this tendency to my foster family.

Fearful of anything?
New people, especially men, can be very scary.

Health

I am happy and healthy!
