Personality

I am so sweet and lovable, that I will just melt in your heart! I love to be affectionate with all kinds of humans, and dogs I have to
sometimes warm up to. I like to chew on sticks and sometimes my toes, and chase any toy that will fly. I have a big soft heart, so I need someone that has one as big as mine to share the rest of my life with.

What are the dog's favorite toys or things to do?
My favorite toys and things to do are chew stuffed toys to shreds, and run as fast as a cheetah!

Dog's forever home:
My ideal forever home would be somewhere to romp and play WWF Smack Down!

Socialization

Does the dog like cats? Live with cats?
I would be better without cats.

Does the dog like other dogs?
I like other dogs when I am introduced to them slowly.

Does the dog like kids?
I would do best with older kids - over 12 please!

Should the dog be placed with other pets and/or kids?
It would depend on the right home and situation.

Training and Behavior

Housebroken?
Yes!

Crate trained?
Yeah, but I don't really like it in there.

Has the dog had any training?
Yes, but I need continued training on my reactivity to dogs on leash and basic obedience.

Does the dog escape the yard? Dig? Bark excessively? Anything else?
I can be reactive to other dogs on leash, but classes with ABR&T can help with that!

Does the dog ride well in the car?
Yes!

Is the dog food aggressive?
I can be protective of my things sometimes.

Fearful of anything?
Not really, I'm pretty resilient!

Health

When I was a puppy, I was stricken with parvo. I got very sick for a long time, and couldn't go out to play. As I grew older, I finally got to stretch my legs and ran as wild as my heart could be. The more I ran the more sore I began to be. My care takers soon realized that I was in quite a bit of pain, and took me off to the vet, where they told me I had two very bad knees and would need surgery soon. All of my care takers took very good care of me, even though I was so miserable and stubborn to everyone. They helped ensure a full recovery. Other than that, I'm a happy, healthy young boy!

Special Contract

Eight week Foundation course that must be started within 2 months of adoption. Course is included in adoption fee and must be completed at ABRT.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT ME, FILL OUT THE INTEREST FORM AND TELL ME ABOUT YOU! I WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU AND SEE IF YOU COULD BE MY NEW FOREVER HOME!
