Personality
I am a LIVELY, LOVING little girl.
What are the dog's favorite toys or things to do?
I love to play... with almost anything! Balls, Squeaky Toys, Water Bottles, you name it! I also enjoy walks, cuddling and learning.

My forever home:
My forever home will be with humans who are patient and gentle with me. I still have much to learn. I will require regular grooming
because of my high maintenance coat (I've gone to Sara, at Country K9 Salon. She is a great human, and really understands how to
handle me). So, a home willing to make sure I get groomd regularly is also important.

Socialization

Does the dog like cats? Live with cats?
I do like cats, and I love to chase them. I sometimes forget my cat is not a dog, so I play a little rough with her. She does not like that.
Does the dog like other dogs?
I do live with other dogs. I think having a K9 companion would be ideal. However, we would have to meet first to make sure we like each other!

Does the dog like kids?

I haven't been around kids. I would prefer not to be around humans under the age of 13. I do not like quick movements or rough handling.

Should the dog be placed with other pets and/or kids?
I can live with other animals. I have a tendency to be bossy, so introductions are a must to see how we get along. I will not do well in a home with humans under the age of 13.

Training and Behavior

Housebroken?
... not quite.

Crate trained?
Yes!

Has the dog had any training?
No, but I'm looking forward to going. I've heard wonderful things about it from my foster brother!

Does the dog escape the yard? Dig? Bark excessively? Anything else?
I haven't escaped the yard. I'm quite athletic though! If I can't go under an obstacle, then I will try to go over it. So, baby gates won't work for me if I'm determined to get to the other side, even if I'm not invited. I'm not a digger. I do like to bark when I have something to say or my foster siblings are barking. I also like to dart out of the door or gate when humans leave the house. Of course, my foster home is working on this and training at ABR&T can help!

Does the dog ride well in the car?
I love to ride in the car! I get so fascinated watching the world go by. If I have to be left in the car, I have no problem with waiting patiently until we leave again. Especially if I get to entertain myself with a chewie.

Is the dog food aggressive?
I really don't like other dogs coming near my food, and I will let them know. If it's a really prized meal, I get nervous about people coming near it too, but training can help with this.

Fearful of anything?
I do not like quick movements toward me or being grabbed. Going to the vet and the groomer can be scary too.

Health

I was born with a congenital heart problem, but with the help of generous donors, ABR&T was able to fix that for me! I'm completely normal now and have no health problems at all!

Special Contract

My contract includes a Foundation Course class to be started within one month of adoption.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT ME, FILL OUT THE INTEREST FORM AND TELL ME ABOUT YOU! I WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU AND SEE IF YOU COULD BE MY NEW FOREVER HOME!
