My holiday wish is to get
new toys
and lots of
car rides
!
Personality
I am a shy girl, but very sweet once I get to know you. Once I know you will not hurt me, I'll be forever yours!
What are the dog's favorite toys or things to do?
I love to relax on the couch and cuddle.
Dog's forever home:
I have had rough life and am truly the happiest when I can cuddle up with my human(s) on the couch. If you think you can give me the life I deserve, please fill out an interest in a dog form.
Socialization
Does the dog like cats? Live with cats?
I don't live with any now, so I'm not sure.
Does the dog like other dogs?
I would do better in a home without any other dogs. If there was another dog it might take 3 or 4 visits for us to meet and warm up to each other, since I like to take things slowly.
Does the dog like kids?
I don't currently live with any, but take some time to warm up to people in general, so I would probably do better in a home without them.
Should the dog be placed with other pets and/or kids?
Due to my shyness around people, I would do best in a household with everyone over the age of 15 years old and in which I am the only dog.
Training and Behavior
Housebroken?
Yes
Crate trained?
I don't use a crate often, so I'm not sure how I would do in one.
Has the dog had any training?
I know all my basic cues including sit, flat (down), wait at doors, and my foster parents are working with me on walking nicely on a leash. I have also been to some foster dog training classes at ABRT.
Does the dog ride well in the car?
I just live for car rides. Anytime or anywhere is good enough for me. I will wait patiently for my foster paretns at the door into the garage, anxious to go run errands or just to get a cup of coffee.
Is the dog food aggressive?
Unknown
Fearful of anything?
I am extremely shy around people and it will take a little while for me to trust anyone new. I can also get a little anxious when it thunders, but ABRT can help us work on that.
Special Contract
Rosie's contract includes an individualized program to be coordinated with ABRT.
NOW THAT YOU KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT ME, FILL OUT THE INTEREST FORM AND TELL ME ABOUT YOU! I WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU AND SEE IF YOU COULD BE MY NEW FOREVER HOME!
This foster dog profile was completed by the foster parent of this particular dog, and is as accurate and complete as that foster parent can make it. If you have reviewed the profile carefully, and you still have additional questions regarding this dog, AND you have completed an interest form, please feel free to contact us.
