Colorado WILD Fires!!
We are currently taking in evacuations from the fires burning in the Pikes Peak area. We currently have 38 dogs from Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. We took in 26 evacuated dogs, 6 evacuated cats, a bunny, and a Guinea Pig. Thankfully many of these have started going home. Some have lost their homes and their people-parents are working hard to find new accomdations. Until they do we will continue providing care for their fur-babies.
If you would like to assist us with donations please donate using the donate button above (little blue DONATE button at the top right).We are also in need of paper goods, and cleaning supplies (odoban, simple green, mean green, clorox or lysol wipes, etc), gas cards (we are running all over the city/county), gift cards to Walmart, Lowes, Costco, Grocery Stores (so we can run grab overlooked items as we need them).

Monthly Dog Wash-A-Thon
On the First Friday of each month, ABRT has a fundraising dog wash at Wag n Wash on Woodmen. 12pm-4pm!!
Let us do the dirty work and get your doggy clean! Stay dry and fur free while shopping in comfort as your dog gets pampered by your favorite rescue people!
$20 donation for wash / $10 donation for nail trim.

Romp in the Park
Join us for the 15th Annual Romp in the Park on Saturday AUgust 10th from 10:30am-4:30pm
Vendors, contests (owner look alike, dress-up, biggest dog-smallest dog etc), demonstrations, amateur agility, raffles, kids area, doggy water park.
Free to the public. Bring your children and well behaved, leashed dogs!
