Available Dogs

Thank you for your interest in our available dogs. We like to get to know the dogs in our care prior to posting them for adoption so if you do not see the dog you are looking for, feel free to put an interest form in telling us what you are looking for in a forever friend. We love to "match-make" and we may have a dog that is not yet posted that is perfect for you. Once we have an interest form from you, one of our staff will contact you (in 7 - 10 days) to discuss your needs in detail as well as the dog(s) you are interested in.

Hi, my name is Max, I am a 5 year old Shepherd mix, and 65 lb loveable lap dog. I am crate trained and I have learned some commands. I am a smart boy! I am working on my discomfort with other dogs, but for now I need to be the only dog in the home. I love meeting new people and will come up to give you a good sniff, with a wagging tail! Unfortunately I cannot have a home with young kids. I can be too much for little ones sometimes, and would do best with a family with kids over 13 years old. I love to play and have lots of energy for it. Blankets are my favorite toy to play with. I like to bring you one to play tug of war with me! I am looking for my forever home and I can't wait to meet you!

General Socialization Notes:

I am a sweet boy but may need a bit of time warming up when meeting new people. With time though, I will be your best friend.

Does Max like other pets?

I am uncomfortable seeing other dogs on leash and with other dogs in my space, I am in training so I can keep working on this! I have lived with another dog and have difficulty with this, so I need to be the only dog in my new home.

Does Max like children?

I can be too much for little ones sometimes, and would do best with a family with kids over 13 years old.

Favorite Toys:

Blankets are my favorite toy to play with, I like to bring you one and like to play tug of war!

Ideal Forever Home:

A home where I am the only dog, with no young children under 13 years, getting plenty of snuggles and play time from my humans. I have so much love to give!
